FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it painful?
Most clients would say the procedure isn‘t painful. However I apply a specific numbing solution to the skin once we start to make it comfortable.
How long does it last?
Many different factors play a role in how long your brows will last within your skin.
Your skin type plays the biggest role in longevity and the general outcome of the procedure. Most clients get colour touch ups 12-18 months from their last appointment.
Aggressive skin treatments such as lasers, chemical peels, microdermabrasions and some skincare products can shorten the lifespan of your cosmetic brows and require touch ups sooner.
What colour do I choose?
During your consultation we will thoroughly discuss and choose the right pigment best suited to your skin tones, under tones and hair colour. It is quite normal for a colour to look quite warm initially after a procedure, as the skin heals the colour will settle and become more true to shade.
How long does the appointment take?
The brow mapping is what takes the longest. We are making sure that they are absolutely perfect prior to doing the procedure. We will map your brows both laying down and sitting up and inspect at all different angles. The tattoo procedure itself takes no longer than an hour. Please allow 2.5 hours for your first appointment. This includes consultation, mapping and tattooing.
Do I need a touch up?
Yes. Your initial appointment is not considered complete until we have done your touch up / perfecting session at 4-6 weeks after. This appointment is generally scheduled before you leave your initial appointment.
